We are pleased to announce the promotion of James Richards to the role of Director, based in our Nottingham office. James has risen through the business having first joined Edmond Shipway as a school leaver in 1996.
During his twenty years at Edmond Shipway he has become an essential member of the team, working within the hotel and leisure sector to develop key income streams for the firm. High profile schemes on which he has worked include the £250m Center Parcs Woburn, a 200 bedroom Novotel at Brentford and the award winning Radisson Blu at East Midlands Airport.
James will now take the lead on all of the Nottingham business’ hotel projects and will also take responsibility for heading up the practice’s furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) procurement and integration service. As main account handler for a large portion of the office’s work, James is currently successfully delivering major programmes for clients including; Atlas Hotels, New River Retail and Everards Brewery.

The Nottingham office has undertaken some truly fantastic work across the region over the last two decades and I look forward to supporting its continued development going forward.”
