After two years of construction, Woburn Forest, the £250 million resort which will cater for 4,000 visitors with a staff complement of 1,500 has now opened. The new village is home to 625 woodland lodges, a 75 bedroom boutique hotel, 11 restaurants, 10 retail outlets, sports hall, a £25 million Subtropical Swimming Paradise as well as a £15 million state-of-the-art spa with six luxury Spa Suites. This together with a host of indoor and outdoor leisure activities make Center Parcs Woburn Holiday Village the premier UK shortbreak destination.
Edmond Shipway have been involved with the Woburn village scheme from its inception. Initially offering advice during the planning consent phase, the company moved on to take the key project and cost management role over the intervening years.
