Essential Requirements

 

·       HNC/D or degree in relevant field. (Degree is preferred).

·       Minimum 5 years’ post graduate design experience in consultancy or contracting.

·       Understanding of current building regulations.

·       Understanding of the construction industry design and procurement process.

·       Understanding of IET wiring regulations 18th Edition.

·       Experience using; AutoCAD, Revit, IES and Hevacomp (or equivalent).

·       A full UK driving licence, with unrestricted use of a car is essential to enable site visits.

·       Must have a valid right to work in the UK.

Role Purpose

We are expanding  our northern based M&E team and are now seeking Electrical Engineers at all levels – Intermediate to Principal, to help us in the delivery of exciting new project work.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Assume responsibility for individual projects.

·       Preparing outline and detailed designs for tender (specification and drawings).

·       Preparing technical reports.

·       Undertaking surveys and detailed calculations.

·       Direct liaison with clients and contractors.

·       Attend project and design team meetings (office and site).

  • Provide management of and/or technical support to Senior members of the team in the day to day running of the office.
  • Undertake continues professional development.
  • Comply with our Policies, Procedures and Quality Management Systems.
