Florence Square, Leeds – Planning Approval Granted

Delighted to confirm that planning approval has been granted for Florence Square, a major new mixed-use masterplan in the heart of the Leeds South Bank.

Phase 1 will deliver approximately 350,000 ft² of Grade A office space, with a further 500,000 ft² planned across residential, hotel, and commercial uses in Phase 2, all set within a high-quality, people-focused public realm.

Edmond Shipway are appointed as Project Manager, Cost Consultant and Employers Agent.

The masterplan places strong emphasis on car-free public space, active travel and landscape-led placemaking, creating a resilient and sustainable new commercial quarter that responds to both its historic context and future climate demands.
